The Asus ROG Phone 5 was first announced in March 2021. The Asus phone line is geared towards gamers (ROG = Republic of Gamers). As It relies on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor for this purpose. Phone provides a fast display and a high refresh rate. This can reach as high as 144 Hz!

Asus’ ROG Phone 5 is a unique ROG design. While not a lot has changed since the ROG Phone 3. There are some design tweaks to the phone’s design Language. The iconic ROG logo is now a little lower at the rear, It is in its regular spot. This design has one thing that I love and that is new logo design.

Asus borrowed its ROG’s dot-matrix display. The ROG logo was adapted to the laptop line up. This gives ROG its unique look. Phone 5 has a unique, gamer-esque feel to it as opposed to a plain old phone. The volume rockers and coloured power buttons are located to the right. The left side of your phone houses an additional USB-C port as well as an accessory.

Touch the shoulder buttons on the right side of the phone. You will also find a Notification LED light. It’s great to see Asus keeping this feature, especially at the front in a world with always-on displays.

The ROG Phone 5’s most important change is undoubtedly the Rebirth of the 3.5 mm headset jack At the bottom. In case you didn’t notice, Asus has removed the 3.5 mm jack The ROG Phone 3 is back on sale at the company’s website The Latest gaming phone.

We now turn our attention to the front. Asus uses a display with a resolution of 1920×1080. To give users more surface area to rest their hands, there are minimal bezels. Asus used a 6.78 inch Full-HD+ AMOLED HDR10+ certified monitor with a 20.4 to 9 aspect ratios, 2448 x 10680 pixel resolution and 395 ppi pixel density.

The display also comes with a Pixel works i6 chip and flaunts Delta-E 1 Colour Accuracy, 111% DCI–P3 Colour Gamut, 150.89% sRGB a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The handset has a refresh rate of 144Hz. 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 24.3ms touch latency. It can also be set to auto, 144Hz or 120Hz.

One area in which the ROG Phone 5 lags behind its camera. Asus used a 64MP f/1.8 Sony IMX686 Sensor, a 13MP A f/2.4 ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP F/2.0 macro camera at the rear. A 21MP camera is also available on the front for taking selfies.

While primary camera does a decent job. However, the ultra-wide lens fails to capture the colours well. The 64MP camera produces bright and colour accurate images without much effort I prefer post-processing.

ROG phones have made the rest of their kit more useful with the ROG series. The appeal to the average consumer but have always been focused on gaming. The ROG 5 is undoubtedly the best gaming phone ever. This may not be the most glowing praise. It is now more competitive than it was in previous years, but the new handset is better. This is the best hardware and software available for gaming on phones till today.

We believe the Asus ROG 5 to be one of the top gaming phones, if not the best, due to its software and accessories. If you like mobile gaming, There are many more options. The Asus ROG 5 is a great gaming phone. It also has great binging media features, such as a great screen and great speakers. It is a huge battery that can be quickly charged with the included 65W charger and A 3.5 mm headphone jack helps.

The ROG Phone 5 is a fledgling gaming device, but I thought it was still a superb piece of hardware.
My personal opinion is that Asus has developed a fantastic gaming phone. I don’t mind the compromises at all.
